Anton Kabisch

Project Manager

Anton supports Blue Future Partners since 2017 as Project and Marketing Manager. He is contributing to our growth in all kinds of different roles “behind the scenes”. Prior to working with Blue Future Partners, he gained extensive experience working in Digital Marketing at Helpling (Rocket Internet) and Community Building at Mindspace, one of the leading European coworking providers. Anton is passionate about entrepreneurship, electric vehicles, and tech.


Anton holds a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Jonathan Hollis

Venture Partner

Jonathan is the Managing Partner of Mountside Ventures and Venture Partner for BFP. He splits his time partnering with Series A and B founders on their next round, and identifying top-tier emerging VC managers for Family Offices and Limited Partners. He qualified with PwC as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and co-founded their early-stage corporate finance practice, and Series A accelerator, whose alumni have raised over £500m with a combined valuation of £3bn, before leaving the firm 3 years ago to set up Mountside.

Jonathan holds a Master of Arts (MA) from University of Cambridge.

Danchun Chen

Venture Partner

Danchun joined Blue Future Partners as Head of Research in 2020 and transitioned to a Venture Partner role in 2023. Danchun is fascinated by the great impact of venture capital and tech startups on the future economy at a global scale. Before joining BFP, she spent time in Strategy Consulting, Startups and Venture Capital across China, France, Singapore, India and Switzerland.

Danchun holds a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School in France and a Bachelor of Arts from South China Normal University.

Johann Kratzer

Investment Advisor

Johann has worked as an Investment Advisor to Blue Future Partners since its inception in 2015. He has 9+ years of experience managing the alternative asset portfolio for a EU-based SFO, having completed direct and fund investments across Real Estate, Venture and Private Equity.

Johann holds a degree in Management and Technology from Technische Universität München.

Sabine Kaiser

Venture Partner

Sabine has worked with Blue Future Partners as Venture Partner since 2017. With more than twenty years of investment experience, Sabine has extensive expertise in fund manager selection and allocation spanning across private equity and venture capital. Previously Sabine was in charge of managing illiquid PE/VC/Credit fund investments and regional asset allocation at BTV, a German single-family office. Prior to that, she worked as a venture capital investor in the field of life science and as a strategic consultant with McKinsey & Company. 

Sabine holds a degree in Human Biology from the Philipps-University of Marburg and a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School. Furthermore, she is an IHK-certified business mediator, specialized in conflict resolution in venture capital financed companies. 

Matthias Baumann

Managing Partner

Matthias joined Blue Future Partners as Operations Director in 2017 after eight years of experience in technology consultancy and investments, building on his previous experience managing largescale IT projects at a technology and information management service provider. Prior to that, he gained significant experience in project management, customer development and scaling B2B businesses as Head of Business Development at Open Publishing. He also worked in an investment management role at a European Family Office. 

Matthias holds a degree in Sociology and Social Psychology from Dresden University of Technology and the University of Fribourg. 

Gregor von dem Knesebeck

Founding Managing Partner

Prior to having co-founded Blue Future Partners in 2015, Gregor spent 5 years at a European Family Office, predominantly looking after their real estate investments. In this role, he gained extensive experience having acquired, managed and divested numerous commercial and residential real estate assets. Gregor also served as CEO of Open Publishing, one of Germany’s leading digital publishing software companies, where he implemented the company’s transition from a content to a software business. He started his professional career in a software consultancy.

Gregor holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Analytical Philosophy and Theory of Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and Madrid.
